Blumenthal Addition, Mount Kisko, New York, 2000
In association with George Ranalli Architects
Project: The new program elements are the removal of the existing South Wall of the house and replacing it with a wall of new mahogany doors, projecting dining bay, screen porch in the existing covered terrace, a new dressing room with closets on the second floor, a new entry stair, and terraces.
Site Context: This project consists of a set of small scale interventions into an existing house which originates from the 1930’s and had an addition completed about 15 years ago. The existing house is a moderate two story vernacular residence and the addition is a stucco block added to the West end.
